Preston House residents held their Christmas party on Saturday 17th December with many of their friends and families present to join in the festive fun.
Susan Mirrey was the entertainer at the party and she soon had everyone singing along and dancing to old favourites from the 50's, 60's and 70's.

Back on the Barge

The barge at Ratho is a firm favourite with residents at all of the care homes in the Kingdom Homes group. On 21st June residents from Preston House paid a visit and sailed on the canal. The weather could have been better but even the rain didn't dampen their spirits.
Museum Bus Visits Preston House

The Fife Museum Bus called at Preston House the other week and parked up for the day. The current exhibition is called The Cabinet of Curiosities and residents were able to step on board the bus to view the many diverse articles on display - from a whale's ear to a zulu spear - which help to tell the story of Fife's past and its people.

Royal Wedding Celebrations at Preston House

Residents and staff at Preston House were keen to get into the spirit of the royal wedding. Union Jack flags decorated each floor and televisions were tuned to the wedding broadcast.

Trying Out New Exercise Aids

Residents at Preston House have a new exercise aid which was given to Activities Co-ordinator Lisa at the end of a training course she attended recently. The parachute is designed to be used by groups and can be inflated and lowered with ease.
