Creepy Crawlies at Preston House
Monday, 8 March 2010
A member of the Zoolab team with one of the snakes that they brought to Preston House.
Preston House residents recently had a visit from Zoolab, an organisation who bring small, exotic animals into schools, care homes etc so that individuals can see the animals up close and, for the brave, even handle some of the creatures!
They brought a selection of small rodents, insects and reptiles and we can report that fortunately none of the creatures were left behind after their visit. Whilst this is perhaps one of the more unusual activities that the residents of Preston House have taken part in it was certainly a very interesting afternoon.

Lorraine Martin, Care Assistant, doesn't look too sure of this slippery character.
