Jenny Celebrates her 101st birthday

Jenny Houston celebrated her 101st birthday at Preston House on 7th February. Jenny and the other residents were entertained by local singer, Jack High. Jenny was presented with a beautiful bouquet of flowers by David McDiarmid, a local councillor…

Creepy Crawlies at Preston House

Preston House residents recently had a visit from Zoolab, an organisation who bring small, exotic animals into schools, care homes etc so that individuals can see the animals up close and, for the brave, even handle some of the creatures!
They brought a selection of small rodents, insects and reptiles and we can report that fortunately none of the creatures were left…
